Our dairy unit features new ideas and technology intended to optimise the health and welfare of our cows, while also optimising food safety, farm efficiency and sustainability.

Our cows are milked twice a day, which gives them plenty of time to enjoy their balanced diet of top quality (mainly home-grown) feeds, relax in their comfortable beds or pamper themselves with their swinging cow brushes.

In the spring, summer and autumn months, our cows spend their days out grazing our lush pasture and enjoying the sunshine. 

We are fortunate to work closely with the George Veterinary Group and a variety of industry experts, including: Dr Nick Bell, Professor Andrew Bradley, Sara Pederson, Hefin Richards, Tim Carter and Douglas Green, whose roles are to help us to achive the highest standards of health and welfare for our cows.
